On Jan. 26, Siena, before 6,800, thrashed the Bobcats in Albany, 84 to 61.......At the time we were in 1st place in the conference with a 5-2 record [10-8 overall].
Our offense was respectable, scoring 61 points on 54 shots........The defense allowed Siena to move the ball well. With 19 assists the Saints scored 84 points on just 57 shots.
Lets get a big crowd out here tomorrow, and see if we can turn the tables. The team needs your support.

Well, we were more competitive than the first meeting.....A pretty high paced game, with both teams getting off 59 shots.
ONCE again we lost the turnover battle, which led to Siena's advantage of point scored off turnovers, by a 21 to 9 margin.
Siena is playing very well right now. It would be nice to play them in the MAAC tourney. We made good progress since the first meeting. We shot well, but the coaches need to keep working on the turnovers. I'm not sure if it is a lack of recognition of defenses, or inexperience.
